HHL GMD, AbdulMajeed empowers Youths, Women, Others in Offa

The GMD Harmony Holdings Limited, Mallam Abdullahi Abdulmajeed on Sunday 9th of April through his foundation “Abdullahi Abdulmajeed (Ajoshe) foundation” empowered youths, women and children in offa local governments area of Kwara State.

The Event also featured 2nd Annual Ramadan Lecture, unveiling of a skills acquisition hub named “Mallam Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq center for Human capital development” and Abdullahi Abdulmajeed (Ajoshe) foundation house.

Abdulmajeed while speaking at the event, explained that the skills acquisition center would build and improve standard of living of the youths in Offa, adding that, “once our youths acquired a vocational skills, they would be depend less on their parents and they would be able to train others in the society. This I believe would reduce the rate of poverty in the society.”

Some of the established skills to be acquired and services in the hub are, free ICT training, free Fashion Designing, free Makeup learning, free cinematography/photo editing training, free lesson for secondary school students, free medical outreach and free counseling programs for youths and aged in Offa.

The ultramodern vocational center which is located at Ganiyu Badmus street, Secretariat road opp Biljuff Nur/Pry sch, is the first of it’s kind in Offa Local Government.

In his remarks, HRM, the Olofa of Offa, Oba Muftaudeen Gbadamosi Esuwoye II, who commended Abdulmajeed for the establishing such a great initiative, urged the good people of Offa to patronize the skills acquisition center.

Also speaking, the Chief Imam of Offa, Sheikh, Muhyidin Salman Husayn in his sermon, called on Offa indigenes and the beneficiaries to replicate the kind gesture of Abdulmajeed, thereby ensuring that they extend the skills acquired to the closest persons in the society.

Earlier at the Abdullahi Abdulmajeed 2nd Annual Ramadan Lecture, prayers were offered for the Mallam Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq’s APC led administration and other newly elected APC candidates in the state.
