Guide on how to resolve NIN issues for JAMB 2024/2025 registration
Candidates must obtain their exam profile code exclusively through their NIN. Registration for the 2024/2025 UTME started on January 15 and concludes on February 26. However, some applicants have reported discrepancies between NIMC information and their registration data.


JAMB has instructed 2024/2025 candidates facing challenges with their National Identification Number (NIN) to follow specific steps. Since 2021, NIN became mandatory for JAMB registration to prevent duplications and ensure candidate identity verification.
Candidates must obtain their exam profile code exclusively through their NIN. Registration for the 2024/2025 UTME started on January 15 and concludes on February 26.
However, some applicants have reported discrepancies between NIMC information and their registration data.
Responding to complaints, JAMB announced a scheduled meeting with NIMC leadership. Candidates with NIN issues are urged to email nimc-amb2024@nimc.gov.ng, detailing their concerns.
The UTME is set to run from March 19 to April 29. As registration progresses, candidates are reminded to avoid unnecessary errors.
