Governor’s Forum: Saliu Mustapha congratulates new Chairman, Abdulrazaq 

The Senator-Elect for Kwara Central senatorial district, Mallam Saliu Mustapha, has congratulated Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq, of Kwara State, on his election as the Chairman of the Nigeria Governors’ Forum. 

Mustapha in a statement on Wednesday, extolled the governor, stating that his election as Chairman of the forum is a proof of his leadership capacity, which will be beneficial to the governors’ forum. 

He noted that the governor’s new position comes with great responsibility to the nation, especially in this period of democratic transition, adding that he is, however, confident that the governor will continue to carry out his responsibilities to the people of Kwara State.  

He said “Congratulations to Mallam Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq, Executive Governor of Kwara State, on his emergence as the Chairman of the Nigerian Governors’ Forum (NGF).

“His proven leadership capacity, and unwavering commitment to public service will be a great benefit to the NGF.

“As Chairman, he has a crucial role to play as our dear nation transitions to a new administration. His good governance initiatives, democratic values, and inclusiveness will be characteristics of his NGF tenure.

“I have no doubt that he will continue to work relentlessly to promote the welfare and development of Kwara State, even as his responsibilities increase.”
