Gov Yusuf was Distracted for One Year – Kwankwaso

Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, leader of the Kwankwasiyya movement and Presidential candidate of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), has accused the opposition in Kano of distracting the government for a year.
Kwankwaso made these remarks during the declaration of a State of Emergency on education in Kano State.
He stated, “I want to start by congratulating him on this significant day, marking the declaration of a State of Emergency on education. The governor’s efforts are evident across the state since his first day in office.
“Despite being distracted for nearly a year, right after the election, opponents took him to Court – Tribunal, Appeal Court, and Supreme Court. It was clear that these actions were unnecessary since everyone knew he rightfully won his election.
“Even the adversaries admitted they intended to seize power forcefully, believing they had governmental support. Despite these challenges, the governor has continued to work tirelessly. Despite numerous obstacles, the governor is making progress.
“This situation reminds me of my second term when, two months after my inauguration, we faced Boko Haram attacks in mosques, markets, police stations, and schools. We remained focused and undistracted.”
