Governor Ademola Adeleke has officially approved the 2024 budget, totaling Two Hundred and Seventy-Three Billion, Nine Hundred and Eight Million, Nine Hundred and Ninety-Seven Thousand Naira and Four Hundred and Ten Kobo (273,908,997,410).

Termed the “Budget of Reconstruction and Recovery,” the governor pledges comprehensive implementation to benefit the state, emphasizing the revitalization of sectors such as education, health, sports, roads, agriculture, creative industry, digital economy, general infrastructure, and programs aimed at women and youth.

Adeleke commended the State Assembly for swift processing and his team for collaborative efforts, expressing a commitment to reconstruct and recover critical sectors as outlined in the budget.
