Gov Abdulrazaq’s ally, Dr. Ghali gets federal Appointment
The appointment, announced by Ajuri Ngelale, Special Adviser to the President on Media & Publicity, is set to be effective from December 1, 2023.
An associate of Kwara State Governor, Dr. Ghali Muhammad, has been named as part of the new Board and Management team for the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL).
The appointment, announced by Ajuri Ngelale, Special Adviser to the President on Media & Publicity, is set to be effective from December 1, 2023.
The appointed members include Chief Pius Akinyelure as the Non-Executive Board Chairman, Mallam Mele Kolo Kyari as the Group Chief Executive Officer, and others such as Alhaji Umar Isa Ajiya, Mr. Ledum Mitee, Mr. Musa Tumsa, Mr. Ghali Muhammad, Prof. Mustapha Aliyu, Mr. David Ogbodo, and Ms. Eunice Thomas.
Additionally, President Tinubu has sanctioned the appointment of two Permanent Secretaries, Mr. Okokon Ekanem Udo for the Federal Ministry of Finance and Amb. Gabriel Aduda for the Federal Ministry of Petroleum Resources.
President Tinubu emphasizes a commitment to a performance-driven and results-oriented mandate, focusing on energy policies that harness current oil and gas resources while facilitating the exploration of cleaner energy sources in the future.
