Ganduje Urges Kogi Residents to Deliver Landslide Victory for APC
Speaking on Saturday during the official inauguration of the APC national and state campaign councils for the November 11 governorship election, Ganduje emphasized Kogi’s historical allegiance to the APC and expressed confidence that the electorate would overwhelmingly support the ruling party.
Abdullahi Ganduje, the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has called on the residents of Kogi to show unwavering support by delivering no less than a 99 percent vote for the party in the upcoming state governorship election.
Speaking on Saturday during the official inauguration of the APC national and state campaign councils for the November 11 governorship election, Ganduje emphasized Kogi’s historical allegiance to the APC and expressed confidence that the electorate would overwhelmingly support the ruling party.
“We are officially launching the state campaign committee today, which will collaborate with the national and local government campaign committees to secure victory at the polls,” stated Ganduje.
He further remarked, “You have experienced good governance under Governor Yahaya Bello’s administration, and as a party, we aim to achieve even more with our gubernatorial candidate, Alhaji Usman Ododo, once he assumes office. Ododo is a dedicated and hardworking individual whom you know well and who is prepared to serve you and the state as governor. We anticipate nothing less than a 99 percent victory in the November 11 governorship election from the people of Kogi.”
Ganduje also conveyed President Bola Tinubu’s commitment to providing a peaceful environment for a credible election in the state.
Governor Yahaya Bello echoed these sentiments, urging residents to unite behind the APC and its candidate, Ododo, given the absence of any significant opposition challenge in Kogi.
“Alhaji Usman Ododo, the APC Governorship Flagbearer, is politically seasoned, possesses the necessary experience and competence to lead Kogi to new heights of development,” Bello affirmed. “Here in Kogi, we firmly believe that with Ododo as my successor, he will build upon my achievements and steer the state towards greater progress.”
Accepting the party’s flag, Ododo expressed gratitude to party members for their support and pledged to continue and expand upon Bello’s legacy, promising to bring further development to the state if elected governor.
