FILL Care Foundation gives scholarship, educational materials to Arabic Students, Schools in Ilorin
Fabulous Ilorin Ladies (FILL) Care Foundation, has made a charitable contribution to the Madrasa Darul-Ulum Isale Koto in Ilorin by paying the madrasa fees for some underprivileged students and donating writing materials to the Arabic School as part of their Back To School intervention for year 2024.
Among the beneficiaries of the Initiative were Isale Maliki Primary School and Baboko Junior Secondary School in Ilorin, Kwara State.
FILL Care foundation, known for its dedication to educational and community development projects, gave scholarships to indigent students, provided school uniform and distributed essential school writing materials including school bags to students in Madrasa and both schools on the 9th and 10th of October respectively.
The Chairperson Education and School Support Committee, Alhaja Segilola Yusuf while presenting the Materials and Cheque said, the initiative reflects the foundation’s commitment to fostering education and supporting less privileged students in the society.
“Our Back-to-school initiative focuses on providing school bags, textbooks, exercise books, writing materials, and other educational supplies to empower the vulnerable students and ensure that the students are well-equipped for the academic year,” FILL Segilola said.
Speaking at the outreach, FILL Care Foundation President, Hajiya Asmau Bimpe Yusuf, (CEO De-pals care foundation), emphasized the organization’s commitment to improving the education and social life of vulnerables in the society.
“We have come to support the school programs and to ensure that children do well in school and see that they lack nothing to excel in their academics. This is part of our goal at FILL Care foundation, to reduce school dropouts and ensure that every child, regardless of their economic background, have access to quality education and the necessary materials required for their academic succees,” She said.
Receiving the cheque, Ustauz Hassan Ismail Al-Imam, the Admin officer for Madrasa Darul-Ulum, appreciated the FIL care Foundation for the kind gesture bestowed on their students, urging them to remain steadfast in supporting the less privilegeds. He stated that FILL Care foundation sets the record of being the first group to donate to the Madrasa.
Ustauz Hassan prayed for continued blessings and success in all their interventions and programs.
Meanwhile, The Headteachers of both schools, Mr. Alege Shuaib, Principal Baboko Junior Secondary School and Mr. Musa Saheed, Head Teacher Isale Maliki Pry School, lauded the foundation’s support, noting that the gesture would go a long way in motivating students and improving their academic performance.
The duo praised the foundation for relieving parents and caregiver of some of the financial pressures associated with school expenses, while calling on other organizations to follow suit in contributing to the development of education in their communities.
The event saw a positive turnout of excited students, and teachers, who expressed gratitude for the foundation’s efforts.
Fabulous Ilorin Ladies care foundation is a Non Governmental Organization (NGO) Co-founded by Hajiya Asmau Bimpe Yusuf (CEO De-pals care foundation), is registered with the CAC.
The foundation committed to cater for the social change, and development of underprivileged women and children in the community, draw their members across the length and breadth of the universe basically Ilorin indigene and wives.
