FG Palliative: Shagaya Engages Stakeholders as Agric Ministry Inspects Food Items ahead of distribution
The event which was organised by the lawmaker in partnership with Balisha Concepts Ltd and the Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Food Security was held at the constituency office, in Ilorin.


The House of Representatives member representing Ilorin West/Asa Federal Constituency,Muktar Tolani Shagaya, on Saturday, has called for stakeholders engagement ahead of distribution of the Federal Government palliative to 1200 constituents.
The event which was organised by the lawmaker in partnership with Balisha Concepts Ltd and the Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Food Security was held at the constituency office, in Ilorin.
President Bola Tinubu had ordered the distribution of palliative items to senators and palliative items to House of Representatives members for onward distribution to their constituencies.

As there was however confusion over the true situation of things following a delay of the distribution by the lawmakers, Honourable Muktar Shagaya upon receiving the palliative items for his constituency held a stakeholders engagement to abreast the constituents of the latest developments.
Earlier, the personnel from the Procurement Department of the Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Food Security had inspected the 1200 bags of Rice (50kg) delivered to the constituency office.

Attending the meeting are: traditional and religious leaders; political parties chieftains; journalists; markets women; Nonprofit Organizations and security agencies amongst others.
Speaking at the meeting, the Deputy Iyaloja of Kwara Marketers, Alhaja Muibat Olumoh applauded Hon. Shagaya for being trustworthy and responsible representative. She reiterated that the constituency is enjoying his strides in the national assembly.
