FG Clears N1.02 Billion Arrears for 7,091 Pensioners
Chioma Ejikeme, the Executive Secretary of the Pension Transitional Arrangement Directorate (PTAD), revealed this, stating it covers 39% of pension arrears accrued between August 2015 and September 2023.
The Federal Government disbursed N1.023 billion to 7,091 pensioners from the power and transportation sectors.
Chioma Ejikeme, the Executive Secretary of the Pension Transitional Arrangement Directorate (PTAD), revealed this, stating it covers 39% of pension arrears accrued between August 2015 and September 2023.
This payment, identified through PTAD’s back-end calculation, rectified payroll discrepancies and aimed to ensure fairness, equity, and justice in pension disbursement for these retirees.
