Ex-NBA President, Akpata reveals why he joined Labour Party
In a tweet on Tuesday, Akpata said he joined the LP in March and attended his first ward meeting on Saturday.
The former President of the Nigerian Bar Association, NBA, Olumide Akpata, has confirmed joining the Labour Party after a photo of him attending a ward meeting surfaced on social media over the weekend.
In a tweet on Tuesday, Akpata said he joined the LP in March and attended his first ward meeting on Saturday.
He explained that he decided to join the opposition party because he got tired of complaining about Nigeria every day and decided to be part of the solution rather than continually agonizing over the problem.
Akpata added that this is the start of an important journey, and he hopes to arrive safely at his destination.
