Ex-Kwara Rep Hon. Aliyu Ahman Pategi dies at 59
Hon. Aliyu Ahman Pategi, a former member of the House of Representatives and Pro-Chancellor of Ahman Pategi University in Patigi, has died at the age of 59.
Aliyu Ahman represented the Edu, Moro, and Patigi Federal Constituency in Kwara North for three terms in the Federal House of Representatives in Abuja.
He held the position of Chairman of the House Committee on Water Resources twice and also chaired the Legislative Budget and Research Committee.
In addition, he was a member of several important committees, including Appropriation and Commerce.
