Ex-Kwara Gov’s aide, Awobimpe receives posthumous award for late Father in Igbaja

A coalition in Igbaja town, Ifowosowopo Igbaja Development Association on Thursday, June 28th, 2023 honored the family of Late Alhaji Salaudeen Awobimpe with a posthumous award.

The award which was in recognition of late Awobimpe’s contribution towards promoting education and dedicated his resources for the development of Igbaja Town, was received by Gov Abdulrazaq’s former S.A Transport Kwara South; Hon Salaudeen Rasheed Awobimpe at the 4th Igaja youth day celebration held at Igbaja town hall, Ifelodun LGA, Kwara state.

While speaking on behalf of the family, Hon. Salaudeen appreciated Ifowosowopo Igbaja Development Association for the honor bestowed on his Late Father.

He described the award as a beautiful flash back to his father’s excellence and selfless service to the development of Igbaja Land.

Awobimpe equally, commended the committee of Ifowosowopo for their relentless efforts in ensuring that Igbaja soar higher.
