Dr. Aliyu Alarape Salman, a former attorney-general and commissioner of justice in Kwara State, has passed away at the age of 81.

Known as the doyen of Senior Advocates in Kwara State, he was born on November 9, 1942.
The news of his peaceful passing was announced by Dr. Mobolaji Ojibara, a former Chairman of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), Ilorin Branch.
The burial is set to take place today at his residence in Ilorin at 4 pm.
May he rest in peace, and may Allah grant him Aljannat firdaus.
