Emir of Ilorin Endorses PWKY 3.0

Yusuf Mutiu Olaitan at his palace on Wednesday.
The Emir of Ilorin, Alh. (Dr.) Ibrahim Sulu Gambari, has endorsed the the 3rd Edition of Play With Kwara Youths (PWKY).
Sho Pen Online reports that the monarch expressed delight with the youth-focused vision of Play With Kwara Youths and the modest achievement recorded within a short period while receiving the delegation of committee members and sports enthusiasts led by the Convener, Comr. Yusuf Mutiu Olaitan at his palace on Wednesday.
He announced that the motto of the organization should henceforth be called ‘Kwara First’. The Emir granted his royal blessings.
Speaking on behalf of the delegation, Mr. Basheer Luqman Olarewaju provided insights into the vision and activities of Play With Kwara Youths. He highlighted the focus on unity and peace of Kwara youths regardless of political affiliation.
On behalf of the members, Basheer thanked the Emir of Ilorin for the peace and good leadership the Ilorin Emirate has continued to witness under his reign.
The courtesy visit and royal audience was an impactful outing for members and lovers of Play With Kwara Youths.
The group was humbled by the Emir’s inspiring counsel and fatherly support which will spur more wins in the subsequent editions.
