Emefiele granted N50m bail
A Lagos High Court, situated in Ikeja, has approved bail for Godwin Emefiele, the former Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), setting the bail amount at N50 million.
Judge Rahmon Oshodi, in his decision on Friday regarding the bail application, granted Emefiele bail with two sureties each matching the bail sum.
Emefiele, who is currently facing a 26-count charge related to abuse of office, is undergoing trial in Lagos.
