Eid-el-Kabir : 1000 widows, vulnerable groups to benefit from Senator Mustapha’s food palliative

The Senator representing Kwara Central Senatorial District in the National Assembly and Turaki of Ilorin Emirate, Senator Saliu Mustapha, has announced plans to distribute food packs to 1000 widows and vulnerable groups ahead of the Eid-el-Kabir celebrations.
This gesture, which is aimed at supporting the most vulnerable members of society, underscores Senator Mustapha’s commitment to inclusive representation and community welfare.
In a statement released by his media aide, Nasif Sholagberu, Senator Mustapha emphasized the importance of assisting widows within the four local government areas comprising the Kwara Central District. He said the food palliatives are designed to ensure that beneficiaries could joyously partake in the festive spirit of Eid Kabir without hassle.
It would be recalled that the Senator, who is the Chairman, Senate Committee on Agriculture and Rural Development, has recently distributed 3500 fertilizers and other farm inputs to genuine farmers in the state as part of efforts to improve food production and sterm the astronomical food inflation in the country.
He therefore urged Muslim faithful in the district and across Kwara state to reflect on the significance of the occasion of the Eid and pray for peace, stability and the growth of the Nigerian nation.
