Eden Hazard, the former Chelsea and Real Madrid star, has officially retired from professional football at the age of 32.
The iconic Chelsea player, who began his career with Lille in 2007, has decided to call it quits after a remarkable journey that spanned 16 years and included more than 700 matches played worldwide.
In an Instagram post, Hazard expressed his gratitude to fans, teammates, managers, and the clubs he played for, including LOSC, Chelsea, and Real Madrid, as well as the Belgian national team.
After a stint at Real Madrid marked by injuries and fitness challenges, Hazard’s retirement marks the end of an era in football.
