Don’t worry about inflation, we’ll bring it down – Tinubu tells Nigerians

President Bola Tinubu reiterated his administration’s commitment to tackling Nigeria’s economic challenges during an event with the leadership of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Campaign Council.
He acknowledged the absence of a “magic wand” but assured efforts to address issues.
Tinubu highlighted the rise in inflation since the removal of petrol subsidies and the unification of the exchange rate in 2023.
The National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) reported a further increase in inflation to 31.7 percent in February 2024. Despite this, Tinubu pointed out improvements in revenue generation and reaffirmed his commitment to delivering on campaign promises.
