Davido unfollows Rexxie over Grammy row
Nigerian Singer, David Adeleke, Popularly Known as Davido has chosen to unfollow record producer Rexxie on Instagram following a subtle dig regarding the Grammys.
Rexxie, asserting his Grammy nominations for his work on Burna Boy’s ‘Twice As Tall’ and the Grammy-nominated song ‘Do Yourself’, boasted on Twitter about earning a nomination before Davido.
He emphasized achieving nominations without resorting to sympathy or engaging in certain promotional tactics.
He wrote in a now-deleted tweet, “Before your fav get Grammy I’ve already gotten it. I no use sympathy or dance with kids on uniform or attend the show early with my full squad and family members. Respect!”
His post did not sit down well with Davido who swiftly unfollowed him on social media.
This is coming barely three weeks after Rexxie revealed that Davido reached out to him when he was recently detained in Uganda.
