Davido launches social media app ‘Chatter’
Afrobeat star Davido has entered the tech industry with the launch of his new social media app, Chatter.
The announcement was made on his official X handle on Friday, July 12.
Chatter, an audiovisual social platform, aims to connect content creators with an active community and amplify their voices.
This is Davido’s third venture into the digital space, following the launch of his cryptocurrency, $DAVIDO coin, which unfortunately crashed shortly after its release, drawing criticism from cryptocurrency enthusiasts.
Announcing ‘Chatter’ on his X handle, Davido wrote: “Chatter is now live in the App Store WORLDWIDE!
“Just 5 months ago, I revealed my involvement in this amazing platform, and today it’s finally here!”
