The recognition, bestowed by Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger, designates Davido as a “Goodwill Ambassador” from Georgia to other states and nations.
The acknowledgment is a tribute to his advocacy and positive contributions to the state, rooted in his Atlanta upbringing.
Recently, Atlanta Mayor Andre Dickens declared November 18 as “Davido Day,” celebrating the artist’s impact on the city’s entertainment scene.
Davido, a prominent figure in African music, also secured three nominations for the 2024 Grammy Awards on November 10.
