Davido denies rumour of arrest in Kenya
Nigerian musician Davido has denied reports of his arrest in Kenya, clarifying the situation through his Instagram story.
The singer, known for hits like “Dami Duro,” recently inaugurated a music and arts faculty at the International University of East Africa in Uganda and performed at Raha Fest in Nairobi, Kenya.
Following his performance, rumors emerged claiming he was arrested by anti-narcotics police for alleged drug possession.
Davido dismissed these rumors as false and irresponsible, emphasizing that he has never been arrested anywhere in the world.
He also mentioned taking legal action against media outlets spreading misinformation.
Despite the incident, Davido continues to be a prominent figure in the African music scene, boasting numerous awards and accolades.
