Davido Announces New Release Date for Album ‘5ive’
Nigerian Afrobeats star Davido has postponed the release of his fifth studio album, 5ive, from March 14 to April 18.
He announced the new date via a pre-save link on his social media but did not reveal the reason for the delay.
In December, Davido described the album as a reflection of his journey, truth, and growth. He has already released two tracks from the project—Awuke featuring YG Marley and Funds.
Since his breakthrough with Dami Duro in 2012, Davido has released four albums, including Timeless (2023). As the founder of DMW, he remains a major force in the African music industry.
