Crypto Trader ‘Blord’ arrested by Police

Police authorities have arrested a crypto trader known as Blord, whose real name is Linus Williams.
According to Force spokesman Muyiwa Adejobi, Blord was apprehended on charges related to cryptocurrency fraud, among other accusations.
“The FCID (NPF-NCCC) is currently investigating complaints against BLORD GROUP, BLORD REAL ESTATE LTD, BLORD JETPAYE LIMITED, and BILLPOINT TECHNOLOGY,” Adejobi said in a statement on Tuesday.
“The offences under investigation include allegations of cryptocurrency fraud, aiding internet fraud, computer-related fraud, terrorism funding, and non-compliance with regulatory frameworks.”
He assured that the police are conducting thorough investigations.
“Our cyberspace in Nigeria must be safe and secure by all means. We are committed to achieving that,” he stated.
