COED, Ilorin releases Batch A, 2021 final year results

Days after the 2021 graduates of Kwara state College of Education, Ilorin, Staged a protest over delay in statement of result by the school management, the college management has fulfilled their pledge by congratulating the students on their portal.

SHO PEN ONLINE had reported that, the students in their numbers on Monday, matched from the school gate to the College Acting Provost office, with placards, demanding for immediate release of their results.

Speaking with our correspondence, The 2021 Students’ Union Government, (SUG) President, of the school, Comrade Abdulazeez Muhammed, said his set had finished exams, November 2021 and since then, they have not been able to check their results.

In his reaction, the school acting provost Dr. Jimoh Ahmed, who appealed to the students, said the delayed was due to the ongoing strike by the staff of the school.

Dr, Jimoh said, “They have the right to protest because the result is being delayed due to the ongoing strike by the academic staff of the college.

“But last two weeks, we appealed to them that they should have consideration for the innocent students, to come and complete their results.

“Over the weekends, we concluded that the results will be signed on Monday 1st of August, by the Deputy Provost Academic and Registrar and the results will be uploaded on their portal by Wednesday.”

However, the management of the college, fulfilled their pledged, by releasing first batch of the results on Wednesday.
