Club 12 Honors Late CP Abdulkadir, extends Generous Donations to Orphanage, Members, Elderly in Ilorin

A prominent non for profit organization, Club 12 has commemorated the end of the year 2024 with Generous Support by donating essential food supplies, Cash and other items to Orphans, Motherless children, Elderly and members who are in need.
The Club also held a rememberance prayer for Late Members including former Commissioner of Police Abdulkadir Lanre Jimoh whose leadership and dedication left an indelible mark on the community. In his honor, members of the club gathered to pay tribute to his legacy, with speeches highlighting his contributions to the charitable initiatives of the Club.
The donations to the orphanage at the Kwara State Children Reception Center included cartons of Indomie, packs of sugar, cartons of Biscuits, bundles of Detergents and other food supplies.
Speaking at the Center, President of the Club, Dr. Yunus Abdulraheem said “this visit is not just about donating food supplies; it is about showing love, solidarity, and a shared responsibility to uplift each other.”
“The supplies we bring today are just a small token of our commitment to the well-being of the children and we are happy to meet them cheering, this shows that the caregivers are treating them nice.”
Dr. Yunus therefore urged the caregivers to continue good parenting for the children, while praying for a prosperous and abundant reward from God.
The Officer in charge and caregiver, Mrs. Gidado expressed gratitude, noting the positive impact these contributions will have on the lives of the children.
The club also extended financial support to widows, elderly individuals, and vulnerable members of the society. Envelopes containing cash assistance were distributed to unknown and deserving beneficiaries in markets and on the street.
In addition to its outreach efforts, the club provided financial support to its members, emphasizing its role as a family that supports one another during times of need.
The event concluded with a mini get-together were members gathered to feast, rejoice and banter to flashback on old memories, highlighting the organization’s dedication to the well-being of its members alongside its external charitable activities.
