Club 12 Holds Memorable Dinner Night in Ilorin

Club 12 on Monday held a vibrant and memorable dinner night at Fresh Hotel, featuring award presentations, promotions and the retirement of distinguished members.

In his opening remarks, the President of the Club, Dr. Yunus Abdulraheem, expressed profound gratitude to Almighty Allah for preserving the lives of the members. He commended the club members for their unwavering dedication and commitment over the years.

Dr. Abdulraheem urged the retired members to brace for the challenges ahead after their unblemished service to the nation. He also encouraged the promoted and elevated members to continue excelling in their respective fields and to uphold the club’s esteemed reputation.

Founded in December 1983, Club 12 was established by a group of secondary school graduates. During their youth, the members embarked on various community projects, including organizing summer schools and visiting motherless babies’ homes and correctional facilities. Over the years, many members have made significant contributions to their fields and have traversed various parts of the world.

The dinner night was a testament to the enduring spirit of camaraderie and service that defines Club 12, celebrating the achievements of its members and looking forward to future endeavors.

According to reports, Among retired members are Assistant Director General DSS Mumini Abdullahi and Assistant Comptroller Yusuf Yakub whilst those promoted included Dr Abdulwahab Lanre Olumoh, Comptroller of Customs,Assistant Commandant General Ayinla Taiye Olowo, Rasak Bola Gold, Senior Advocate of Nigeria and Professorial cadre, Prof Adam Kayode Ibraheem.
