According to a statement signed by the National Public Relations Officer, Alhaji Abdullahi Abdulfatahi-Oloyin, the initiative follows the directive of the association’s National President, Alhaji Muhammed Uthman-Jagunmo, who is currently in Abuja for National assignments.
National President Alhaji Muhammed Uthman-Jagunmo authorized this intervention during a virtual meeting with our executives to commemorate this year’s Children’s Day,” Abdulfatahi-Oloyin disclosed, noting the president is currently engaged in national assignments in Abuja.
The youth development association emphasized the dual purpose of the program: “This initiative not only promotes educational access but significantly reduces the financial burden on parents across our emirate,” the PRO stated.
This intervention serves dual purposes: encouraging school enrollment and reducing the financial burden on parents,” Abdulfatahi-Oloyin stated. “We believe education is the foundation for sustainable community development.”
The beneficiaries were selected from public primary schools across the emirate’s five local government areas. Each pupil will receive five exercise books, while the association settled outstanding.
These children represent our future,” the PRO added. “Investing in them today means investing in our collective tomorrow.
IEYDA reaffirmed its commitment to child development, stating: “We’re investing in our children’s potential to become future leaders and productive community members.”
The Ilorin Emirate Youth Development Association association urged beneficiaries to become positive ambassadors while calling on parents to provide constant moral guidance to ensure our children’s holistic development and safety.
