Children Reconstruct Mosque into Ultra-Modern Structure in Honor of Late 11th Balogun of Gambari

The children of the late 11th Balogun of Gambari, Alhaji Abdulkareem Laaro Balogun, have reconstructed a community mosque, Ile Eleran Mosque, in his honor.

The worship center was commissioned earlier today in a grand opening ceremony held at the Ile Eleran compound, Gambari Area in Ilorin.

While delivering his lecture at the event, Sheikh Sulaiman Dan Boronu praised the children of the late Balogun Gambari for upholding the good legacy of their late father.

He urged the Muslim Ummah to continue striving for positive contributions to Islam and humanity.

On his part, the Grand Mufti of Ilorin, Sheikh Sulaiman Onikijipa, OON, offered prayers for the children of the late Balogun Gambari, asking Allah for blessings and guidance in their endeavors.

Speaking on behalf of the family, Retired Air Commodore Ayuba Buhari noted that the mosque symbolizes the fulfillment of a long-term pledge made by their late father, Alhaji Abdulkareem Laaro Balogun, to support the spiritual growth of the community.

He expressed gratitude to family, friends, and well-wishers who joined them in the commissioning of the mosque.

The event was witnessed by renowned Islamic scholars in Ilorin, including the Chief Imam of Gambari, Sheikh Sulaiman Abdulazeez; Grand Mufti of Ilorin, Sheikh Sulaiman Farooq Onikijipa; Sheik Sulaiman Dan-Borno, Sheikh Issa Baba Otte Salaty, among others.
