CBN Announces Freeze on Bank Accounts without BVN, NIN
According to a circular released on Friday, a “Post No Debit or Credit” will be imposed on funded accounts lacking BVN or NIN starting March 1, 2024.
The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) has issued a directive stating that accounts without a Bank Verification Number (BVN) or National Identification Number (NIN) will face restrictions from April 2024.
According to a circular released on Friday, a “Post No Debit or Credit” will be imposed on funded accounts lacking BVN or NIN starting March 1, 2024.
