Asake announces new album, to headline Madison Square Garden during world tour

Asake, the Nigerian singer and songwriter, has announced his world tour for his upcoming album, ‘Lungu Boy.’
On Monday, the singer shared a flyer on Instagram with detailed information about the tour.
However, the release date for ‘Lungu Boy’ has not yet been revealed.
“I’m super excited to announce that my ‘Lungu Boy World Tour’ is coming to a city near you. New album OTW,” he wrote.
The tour will kick off with a headline performance at this year’s Afro Nation in Portimão, Portugal.
From July 13 to October 6, Asake will perform in thirteen cities worldwide.
The cities include London, Washington DC, Detroit, Atlanta, Los Angeles, New York, Berlin, and Paris, as well as Houston, Cologne, Amsterdam, Dublin, and Gold Coast.
The singer will also take the stage at notable venues such as the State Farm Arena, Toyota Center, Capital One Arena, and the iconic Madison Square Garden.

Asake rose to prominence in 2020 with his hit song ‘Lady.’
He joined YBNL, the record label owned by Olamide, in February 2022.
The 29-year-old has also released two studio albums: ‘Mr Money With The Vibes’ (2022) and ‘Work of Art’ (2023).
