Arsenal on Verge of Sealing £42m Deal for Bologna’s Calafiori
Arsenal is nearing an agreement with Bologna for the transfer of Riccardo Calafiori.
Bologna has been holding out for £42 million for the Italian international.
According to Sky Italy, discussions are ongoing regarding the payment structure and additional clauses.
Personal terms between Arsenal and the defender are not expected to be an issue.
Calafiori’s former club, Basel, could receive up to 50 percent of any profit Bologna makes from the deal.
The Serie A club purchased Calafiori last summer for £3.3 million.
