Aliko Dangote has regained his title as the wealthiest individual in Africa, reclaiming the top spot on Forbes Africa’s billionaire list.
As of January 8, Dangote’s net worth increased by $10 million to $10.1 billion, surpassing South African tycoon Johann Rupert, who now holds a net worth of $10 billion, down from $10.7 billion as of January 30, 2023.
Dangote, leading the Dangote Group, holds the 191st position on the global Forbes list, while Rupert is ranked 197th.
