The wife of Ondo State Governor Betty Anyanwu-Akeredolu has withdrawn from Owerri Senatorial race.
According to report from independent.ng, Betty cited irregularities, use of brute force, intimidation against her and supporters as reasons for her withdrawal.
She alleged that some high authorities within the party had concluded plan to scheme the whole process in favour of a particular candidate.
It was alleged she was manhandled and forced out of the party secretariat by thugs
