Agbaji Community commends Saraki’s support for Education

The Agbaji Development Association (ADA) has expressed  gratitude to Dr. Abubakar Bukola Saraki, the 8th President of the Senate, for his unwavering support in promoting education and welfare in the community.

Addresing the students and tutors at the closing ceremony of 2023/24 summer lesson, ADA President, Yunus  Lasiele, praised Saraki for his kindness and fulfillment of promises, particularly the scholarship award to 50 SS3 students for the 2024/2025 academic session.

The President also   commended the tutors, ADA Education committee, Community elders, and well-meaning sons and daughters for their immense contributions tothesuccessful completion of theexercise. He also acknowledged the executives and members for their dedication to the community’s development.

Lasiele specifically commended Saraki for his consistent support in promoting education and welfare, describing him as a Samaritan who fulfills his promises, especially concerning the well-being of the community’s sons and daughters.

He highlighted Saraki’s gesture of awarding scholarships to all 50 SS3 students who participated in the summer lesson.

The highlight of the programme was the presentation of prizes to the best students from JSS1 to SS3, from 3rd position to 1st position. The community members and education committee technocrats expressed gratitude to the members and students for their support throughout the program.

The summer lesson program, which commenced and concluded with prayers, was marked by success, with no injuries or casualties reported. The tutors and students returned home safely, filled with joy and gratitude.

Lasiele implored the students to be good ambassadors of the community, emphasizing the importance of education in shaping their future. The ADA remains committed to promoting education and welfare in the community, thanks to the support of distinguished individuals like Dr. Abubakar Bukola Saraki.
