Ahmed Musa, the captain of the Super Eagles of Nigeria, has urged Nigerians to maintain confidence in the team during the current African Cup of Nations (AFCON).
Musa conveyed this message during the AFCON Inaugural Press Conference of the Super Eagles in Abidjan, Cote D’Ivoire.
He expressed optimism about the team’s success, predicting a triumphant return as African Champions, with the AFCON Trophy lifted on February 11th.
The Super Eagles’ first match will be against Guinea at 3 pm on Sunday, followed by encounters with AFCON hosts Ivrory Coast and Guinea-Bissau in the group stage.
