Abba Yusuf sacks 8 Directors at Kano State Revenue Service
The circular obtained by DAILY POST instructs the dismissed directors to transfer their duties to their deputies.
Kano State Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf has authorized the immediate dismissal of eight directors from the Kano State Internal Revenue Service (KIRS), as announced by the Board Chairman, Sani Abdulkadir Dambo.
The circular obtained by DAILY POST instructs the dismissed directors to transfer their duties to their deputies.
The affected directors encompass various departments, including Assessment, Human Resource, Government Business, Road and Other Taxes, Tax Audit, Investigation & Debt Management, ICT, PAYE, and Legal & Enforcement.
The decision is part of the administration’s ongoing efforts to streamline public services.
