Abba Yusuf Behind My Ordeal – Ganduje

Dr. Abdullahi Ganduje, the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), accused the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) administration in Kano State of organizing protests against him in Abuja.
In a statement by his special assistant on civil society and support groups, Comrade Okpokwu Ogenyi, he claimed that the NNPP-led government in Kano State has been paying people, primarily Kwankwasiyya members from the North Central region, to participate in protests calling for his resignation.
Ganduje stated that Governor Yusuf of Kano State is allegedly working with individuals from the North Central zone, distributing large sums of money to sustain a campaign against the APC’s leadership.
He accused the governor of misusing state resources that could be better used for providing essential services to the people of Kano.
He urged security agencies to remain vigilant to ensure public safety, pointing out that some protesters wore Kwankwasiyya T-shirts and caps, indicating their allegiance to the NNPP, while pretending to be APC supporters.
The statement concluded with Ganduje condemning these actions, suggesting they could harm the stability and peace within the party.
The Kano State government has denied these accusations.
