950 Orphans to Benefit as Saudi-Funded Support Initiative Set for Launch in Ilorin on Monday

A fully funded Saudi Arabian Government Comprehensive Orphan Support Initiative tagged “Abibakr As-Sidiq Philanthropic Home” is to be launched in Ilorin, the Kwara State Capital on Monday next week, 17th of February 2025.
The event will take place at the State Banquet Hall, Opposite Government House, Ilorin, beginning at ten O’clock in the Morning.
A Statement by the President, Abibakr As-Sidiq Philanthropic Home, Alhaji Abdulrazaq Ibrahim Salman, said the orphanage initiative is a transformative project designed to provide critical care and long-term support to 950 orphaned and vulnerable children in the State.
Alhaji Salman therefore called on all accredited orphanage homes in the state to join Abibakr As-Sidiq Philanthropic Home as valued partners in delivering holistic support and developmental opportunities to affected children.
He explained that the initiative would provide a Comprehensive Approach to Child Empowerment,including stable Housing and Daily Supervision, Educational Support, Healthcare Support, Nutritional Support and Psychosocial Support.
The President announced that every prospective participating orphanage home must be fully accredited by the state Ministry of Social Development to ensure the highest standards of care and transparency.
According to him, ASPH, in collaboration with government agencies, will closely monitor project progress through monthly and quarterly reviews, to ensure that all services are delivered with efficiency and accountability.
Alhaji Salman maintained that with the project fully funded by ASPH, resources and support are readily available to make an immediate and lasting impact.
As-Sidiq Philanthropic Home is dedicated to transforming lives through sustainable, fully funded initiatives that provide comprehensive support including education, healthcare, nutrition, and psychosocial services to vulnerable communities across Nigeria.
