The Osun chapter of the APC has expelled 84 of its members over allegations of engaging in activities that were deemed harmful to the party.

The decision, as stated by Sooko Lawal, the Osun APC chairman, was made following a comprehensive evaluation of evidence and recommendations.

Lawal emphasized that the step to expel these members was difficult but necessary, in light of their alleged misconduct.

The party had received complaints about anti-party actions, prompting the State Executive Committee to form a disciplinary panel for investigating these claims.

The committee’s impartial review led to the conclusion that expulsion was appropriate.

Lawal urged remaining party members to stay committed to the APC’s objectives, underscoring the party’s unwavering dedication to transparency, inclusivity, and adherence to its core principles.
