61-year-old man emerges best graduating student of UNILAG distance learning

Babatunde Sobowale, a 61-year-old Nigerian man, has emerged as the top-performing graduate of the Distance Learning Institute (DLI) at the University of Lagos (UNILAG).
UNILAG, in a Wednesday post, announced Sobowale’s graduation with a cumulative grade point average (CGPA) of 4.84 during its 54th convocation.
Sobowale obtained a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the department of management sciences.
The university commended his academic excellence, highlighting him as an exemplary figure for students of all ages, emphasizing that age is merely a number.
