Speaking with Journalists at the event which was held (today) at Lower Niger River Basin, Ilorin, the erstwhile Member of the Nigerian Senate said the empowerment was facilitated as part of the year 2023 Capital Projects of the National Directorate of Employment and was significantly supplemented with his private fund to assist the vulnerable in the Ilorin Emirate and beyond to cushion the effects of the fuel subsidy removal, stating that it was not a constituency project as it’s being rumoured in some quarters.
The medical doctor turned politician maintained that he is not in any competition with the current Senator of the District, Sen. Saliu Mustapha, rather, he is genuinely synergizing with him and other incumbent public officers in achievable policy aimed at moving Kwara State forward.

In his words, Oloriegbe noted that: ” I’m not doing this program for politics. I’m not doing this because I’m seeking any position, the time of politics has gone. It is just five months into the new administration on board, this is not time for politicking but governance proper.”

Items distributed were Sowing machine (100), HP Laptop (60),
Motorcycle- 33, Tricycle-3
