A political group known as Waziri Saraki Peoples Association (WASPA), today, gathered teenagers from different arabic and islamic study centres in Ilorin to specially recite Qur’an and pray towards the realization of the 2023 presidential aspiration of the present Waziri of Ilorin and President of 8th Senate, Dr Abubakar Bukola Saraki, CON.
The group, formerly known as Waziri Youth Development Association (WYDA), was the youth structure of the highly revered Saraki Dynasty during the lifetime of the late Waziri of Ilorin and father of the current Waziri, Dr. Abubakar Sola Saraki Oloye, with many of its founding members doing fine in their chosen careers and political paths.
During the prayer session, which was anchored by young Islamic scholars from Ilorin, Ustaz Hamzat Alikankaji, who delivered lecture, commended the group for deeming it fit to come up with such idea to seek the Almighty Allah’s supreme supports for the 2023 ambition of the Waziri of Ilorin and other PDP aspirants from Kwara state.
Ustaz Hamzat stressed that Saraki’s presidency is best thing to happen to the country, owing to his vast economic brilliance and judging from his outstanding performances both, as the Governor of Kwara state between 2003 and 2011 which was the beginning of modern Kwara and as the Senate President of Nigeria who prevented many anti-nigerians policies of the present ruling APC between 2015 and 2019, respectively, among other reasons.

Wahab Issa (represented), Hon Isiak Magaji, Mr. Isiaq Saka Saadu, Mr Abdulrahman Abdullahi GreatKay, Hon Waheed Ogele (Jayman), Hon. Ayedun Ajikobi, Alhaji Abdullahi Orekan Ajikobi, Barr. Abdulhamid Olatunji (represented), Barr Mohammed Adelodun (represented), Alhaji Ladi Giwa, Alhaja Ramatallahi Eletu – Pakata, Surveyor Gidado, Alhaji Usman Ubandawaki, Hon Abu Ganga, Alhaji Abdulganeey Safari, Alhaji Sulyman Momonu, Alhaji Rasaq Saadu, Hon Shehu Omo Alijanna among others.
