2023 : Magaji Ngeri APC dissociates self from Olawoyin’s re-election Bid

Youths and stakeholders of the All Progressive Congress (APC) in Magaji Ngeri ward, Ilorin west LGA of Kwara State have distanced themselves from purported endorsement for re-election bid of Honorable representing Ilorin Central constituency at the Kwara House of assembly.

This was contained in a statement made available to our correspondent on Tuesday.

“The Magaji Ngeri APC Constituency strongly dis- associate it self in the protest rally at supporting Hon Olawoyin as the self aclaimed party flagbearer in Kwara Assembly primary election ,which ordinarily did not took place, because election through the principle laid down law and order was not allowed and there was no election at the primary constituency venue.

The ugly protest rally was a dismayed and a total display of jamboree canival ,which doesn’t represent people’s will and this should be disregarded. It’s a way of misleading the party faithful and the people of the constituency.

The conduct and ridiculous approach used to hijacked electoral processes and distrustful to the delegate, which legitimately the determinant of any candidate that will represent the party at any level electioneering. As the law of the land position.

We therefore, want to categorically distance the APC Magaji Ngeri constituency from circulated rally reportage in support of a candidate that didn’t partake in election as a truly flagbearer of our  great party. The action and character display of the shellfish and parochialism is a symbol of self defense in truncating democratic principle.  Party dignity and respect should not be undermine by any individualism for selfish gain. It’s the embodiment of people and the will of people that must prevail at all time .

This is a clarification on the stand of the party and the Will of the people’s Mandate , which is Paramount.

We urge the public to disregard the the reconciliation as being emphasis by self support group.

We remained resolute and affirmed that no primary election took place on the 26th of May 2022 for Magaji-Ngeri constituency as anyone claiming to be winner is  selfishly displaying an action which can denied the party the required victory at the general election.”The statement reads.
